At Watson Engineering, we are fully committed to the Health & Safety of our staff and customers alike. People are our most important resource, and our environment is important to the health and wellbeing of our workers, their families and the public who are affected by what we do.

Health & Safety is at the forefront of all project planning and is a fundamental part of our business. We pride ourselves on our safe methods of working and keeping our workplace as safe as feasibly possible. We are committed to health and safety as a way of being, not just something to comply with.

We operate with effective health and safety management systems and hold current and relevant insurances for the work we carry out. Since 2016 we have been approved and registered on the local authority contractor pre-qualification database making us pre-qualified for multiple councils throughout Waikato & Bay of Plenty.

We have a dedicated Health & Safety Officer to monitor and ensure all health and safety responsibilities are communicated to staff and management.

We complete pre-start site specific safety plans (SSSP’s) and/or Job Safety Analysis (JSA’s) on all site operations and make these available to the main contractor, simplifying their contractor management.
